A rhino stuck in sand in the northern bank of Brahmaputra river, Assam
One of the two clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) cubs undergoing acclimatisation for eventual release in Kachugaon Forest Division in Greater Manas, Assam.
An adult male rhino stuck in sand concealed under water, in the northern bank of Brahmaputra river in Sotia, Assam. The rhino was freed with the help of locals.

A juvenile brown wood owl (Strix leptogrammica) being examined at Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC), Assam. The owl was confiscated from traders in Silonijan, Karbi Anglong, and is being hand-raised. IFAW-WTI veterinarians at CWRC attend to a severely injured black panther (Panthera pardus) brought from Kehang Tea Estate, Borjan Reserve Forest, Assam. The leopard was injured in conflict with humans in the tea estate.

An elephant calf being bottle-fed at the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC), Assam. The calf was found alone in Buridihing Reserve Forest, Upper Assam. A Burmese rock python being released in Atiabari Reserve Forest, Assam, by the Mobile Veterinary Service Lower Assam unit. The python was rescued from captivity of local people in Atiabari.

A Himalayan griffon vulture that was rescued from captivity and released following examination

A 'stray' spectacled cobra (Naja naja) rescued from a house in Kokrajhar, Bodoland, by an independent rehabilitator Gautam Ghosh. The cobra was examined, and later released.

A Himalayan griffon vulture (Gyps himalayensis) rescued from captivity in Karigaon, Kokrajhar by Mobile Veterinary Service Lower Assam unit. The vulture was released at the rescue site.
