Clouded leopard cubs being acclimatised in Kachugaon Forest Division, Assam
Rhino calf, found alone, being transferred to CWRC for hand-raising
Hand-raised clouded leopard (Neofelis nebulosa) cubs being taken for walks for acclimatisation to the wild in Kachugaon Forest Division, Assam, in preparation for their release.
A rhino calf, found alone in Bagori range, Kaziranga, being moved to the Centre for Wildlife Rehabilitation and Conservation (CWRC). The calf is being hand-raised at CWRC.
Critically ill leopard treated and released in Dinjan, Dibrugarh, Assam
Injured tragopan under treatment in Mehao WLS, Arunachal Pradesh
A common leopard found critically ill in Dinjan Military Station, Dibrugarh, Assam. The leopard was released in Joypur Reserve Forest after five days of treatment. A rare Blyth's tragopan (Tragopan blythii) found injured in Mayudia Pass, Arunachal Pradesh. The bird was provided treatment and is currently under the care of the Forest Department.

An injured Burmese rock python (Python morulus vittatus) being treated at the Mobile Veterinary Service field station in Kokrajhar, Assam. The python was released in Chakrasila WLS. Dr Anjan Talukdar, IFAW-WTI veterinarian, observes a Forest Department elephant in 'musth', following its tranquilisation, in Orang National Park, Assam..
A black capped kingfisher that was brought from released in Chakrasila WLS Lesser adjutant stork being hand-raised in MVS Upper Assam field station, Dholla
A black capped kingfisher (Halcyon pileata) released in Chakrasila Wildlife Sanctuary, Assam, following examination. It was rescued from local children in Choraikhola. A lesser adjutant stork (Leptoptilus javanicus) chick that had fallen off its nest in Dholla, Assam. The chick is being hand-raised at the IFAW-WTI Mobile Veterinary Service field station.
