WILD AID PROGRAMME

The Wild Aid Programme of the WTI is a multi-disciplinary integrated approach for wildlife conservation. It is conceptualized as an outreach management skill unit to address all critical conservation needs and emergencies in the country through short and medium term actions.

It aims to tackle cyclical or long term problems with sustained action, by providing adequate financial support for interventions in areas of strategic importance, reasoned with the organizations broad viewpoints, essential equipments for field interventions and providing novel and ingenuous solutions to conservation problems by using non-conventional methods.

To realize these goals, effectively and competently and at a shortest notice the Wild Aid Programme is works with four thematic divisions:

These divisions have been formed to address any one or a combination of all the areas with respect to wildlife crime, man-animal conflict, natural calamities, developmental issues, gaps in information, habitat degradation or fragmentation, displacement of wild animals and disease.
